This letter refers to the safety inspection conducted by Ms. L. Peluso and D'r. J. Jang of this
office on March 2-6, 1992, of activities authorized by NRC License No. NPF-14 and NPF-
22 at the Susquehanna
Station, Berwick, PA and to the discussion of our findings held by
Ms. Peluso with Mr. G. Stanley and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection included the radioactive liquid and gaseous effluent
control programs
as described in the NRC Region I Inspection Report which is enclosed with
this letter.
Within these areas,
the inspection consisted of selective examinations of
procedures
and representative
records, interviews with personnel,
and observations by the
inspectors.
Within the scope of this inspection, we noted that you maintained an effective effluent
control program.
No safety concerns or violations were identified.
No reply to this letter is required.
