OPERATOR REQUALIFICATIONISSUES (MEETING REPORT NOS.
50-387/92-10 AND 50-388/92-10)
This letter refers to the meeting held on February 14, 1992, at the NRC Region I office
conducted between Mr. Hodges, Director, Division of Reactor Safety, and Mr. Stanley,
Superintendent of Plant-SSES,
and other members of your staff.
The purpose of the meeting
was to discuss your actions in response to the weaknesses
identified during the NRC
evaluation of your licensed operator requalification program in January
1992.
Your staff presented
the results of your root cause analysis and planned corrective actions to
address
the weaknesses
in your licensed operator requalification program.
The NRC has
reviewed the information provided and has no further questions, therefore; it is no longer
necessary for you to provide the response
requested by the letter transmitting Examination
Report Nos. 50-387/92-01 and 50-388/92-01(OL), dated February 13, 1992.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and
the enclosed report willbe placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
