The enclosed report documents
a routine safety inspection conducted by inspectors of this office on
August 13, 1991 - September 23, 1991, at the Susquehanna
Steam Electric Station (SSES), Salem
Township, Pennsylvania.
The inspection covered plant operations, surveillance, and maintenance
for both units. At the conclusion of the inspection, Mr. G. S. Barber, Senior Resident Inspector,

whether NRC licensed activities were being conducted safely and in accordance
with regulatory
requirements.

activities in a safe manner during this period.
