Subject: NRC Region I Combined Inspection 50-387/90-25; 50-388/90-25
The enclosed report documents
a routine safety inspection conducted by inspectors of this
office on November 4, 1990 - December 29, 1990, at the Susquehanna
Steam Electric Station
(SSES), Salem Township, Pennsylvania.
The inspection covered plant operations,
surveillance, and maintenance for both units. At the conclusion of the inspection, Mr. G. S.
Barber summarized the inspection findings with Mr. H. G. Stanley and other members of
your staff.
NRC Inspection Report 50-387/90-21 documented our October 26, 1990 meeting regarding
plant discrepancy management.
However, the presentation materials for that meeting were
inadvertently omitted from that inspection report.
Those materials are included as Enclosure
2 of this letter.
