COMPLIANCE WITH THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION SECTIONS 3.0.4 AND 4.0.4 DURING SHUTDOWNS OF SUSQUEHANNA STEAM ELECTRIC STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 In your letter of January 4, 1991, you requested limited relief from Technical Specifications 3.0.4 and 4.0.4, so that certain surveillance tests can be performed in a practical manner.
This relief was previously granted in our letter of November 30, 1990.
You had filed a request for license amendment also on November 30, 1990, which, if granted, would correct the problem on a permanent basis.
Since the rationale which formed the basis for granting that relief remains unchanged, the effectiveness of NRC's letter of November 30, 1990 is hereby extended until NRC completes review of the request for license amendment, also dated November 30, 1990.
