OF MAY 25, 2017, OPEN HOUSE TO DISCUSS THE 2016 END-OF-CYCLE PLANT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF DRESDEN NUCLEAR POWER STATION UNITS 2 AND 3 On May 25, 2017, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CDT), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held a public outreach/open house to provide the public with information on the 2016 End-of-Cycle plant performance assessment of the Dresden Nuclear Power Station and with general information on the NRC. The outreach was held at the Grundy County Administration Building in Morris, IL.
NRC personnel were available for discussions related to the NRCs assessment of the Dresden Nuclear Power Station performance, which was documented in the March 1, 2017, End-of-Cycle Assessment letter (ADAMS Accession Number ML17054D264). Handouts, that were available to describe the NRCs Reactor Oversight Process and Dresden Nuclear Power Station 2016 performance, are attached.
