NRC Names New Senior Resident Inspector at the Callaway Nuclear Power Plant
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has selected Dan Bradley as
its senior resident inspector at the Callaway nuclear power plant located
in Fulton, Mo.
Dan Bradley has the training, experience and commitment to
safety that will help the NRC carry out its mission of ensuring the
continued safe operation of the Callaway nuclear power plant, said
NRC Region IV Administrator Kriss Kennedy.
Bradley has served as the resident inspector at Columbia
Generating Station in Richland, Wash., since 2013. He joined the NRCs
Region IV office in Arlington, Texas, in 2011, where he worked as a project engineer in the Division of
Reactor Projects. Prior to joining the NRC, he served in the U.S. Navy submarine force aboard the USS
Bradley holds a bachelors degree in physics and a masters degree in nuclear and radiological
engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Each U.S. commercial nuclear power plant has at least two resident inspectors. They conduct
inspections, monitor plant operations and safety significant work projects, and interact with plant
employees and the public
