- Staff, AEOD TECHNICIANS PERFORM WORK ON WRONG CONTROL ROD DRIVE MECHANISM The attached report is forwarded for your information.
During this event at Susquehanna 1, technicians completed work to remove the wrong control rod drive mechanism.
Although the event was not significant from the safety standpoint, it is an example of how work can be performed on the wrong component.
It also illustrates appropriate corrective action.
No additional NRC action is needed at this time.
