In addition, a list of regulatory commitments was provided in Attachment 2 of the referenced letter., The purpose of this letter is to communicate a change to the following commitment:
Commitment EGC will submit a final updated supplemental response to support closure of GL 2004-02 for TMI, Unit 1.
Committed Date June 1, 2017 TMI is an Option 2A plant with a calculated in-vessel fiber debris bypass of 19.66 grams/fuel assembly, which exceeds the NRC acceptance limit of 15 grams/fuel assembly. Therefore, WCAP-17788, "Comprehensive Analysis and Test Program for GSl-191' [Generic Safety lssue-191] Closure," methodology is required to properly close out GL 2004-02 and GSl-191. WCAP-17788 is currently under NRC review with forecasted approval in 2018. The final calculations for in-vessel fiber debris, as well as the existing ECCS flow sump performance final calculations, will be performed together i
