SUMMARY
OF MEETING HELD WITH PPIIIL AT BETHESDA, MD, ON MARCH 12,,1984 REGARDING STAFF EVALUATION OF SUSQUEHANNA DETAILED CONTROL ROOM DESIGN REVIEW REPORT Discussions at the meeting centered mainly on the methodology use by PP8L to prepare the task analysis data sheets and plans for future actions regarding the DCRCR.
As a result of this meeting the following actions are planned:
1.
The NRC staff will plan a site visit to be scheduled sometime after the week of April 16, 1984.
The staff will review all of the PPSL human engineering deficiencies (HEDs) during the site visit.
2.
Prior to the site visit, PPSL will provide the staff with additional information concerning their task analysis process.
At a minimum, this information should provide a specific, detailed description of how the pre-fill an post-fill task anaysis data sheets were prepared.
3.
PP8L will provide a detailed description (supported by a control room layout) of which control room panels were reviewed and which panels were not reviewed during the DCRDR.
4.
The NRC staff will provide an analysis and comments on the PPSL recommendations for the 45 "TO DO" HEDs in the DCRDR Summary Report.

- 5. Light Company and General Physics met with the NRC staff and representatives of Science Applications, Inc., to discuss the staff evaluation of the Susquehanna De-tailed Control Room Design Review (DCRDR) Report.
PP8L submitted the DCRDR Summary Report in a letter dated November 11, 1983.
The NRC staff review was provided to PPSL in a letter dated February 2, 1984.
A list of attendees is provided in Attachment 1.
