S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission),
has issued Facility Operating License No. NPF-22, to Pennsylvania Power 5 Light Company and Allegheny Electric Cooperative, Inc. (licensees) which authorizes operation of the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Unit No.
2 (the facility) at reactor core power levels not in excess of 3293 megawatts thermal in accordance with the provisions of the License and the Technical Specifications.
Authorization to operate beyond five percent (164.4 megawatts thermal) is still

Susouehanna Steam Electric Station, Unit 2 is a boiling water nuclear reac-tor. located at the licensees'ite in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
The license is effective as of the date of issuance.
The application for the license complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's regu-lations.,
The Commission has made appropriate findings as required bv the Act and the Commission's regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license.
Prior public notice of the overall action involving the proposed issuance of an operating license was published in the Federal Register nn t'ugust 9, 1978 (43 FR 35406).
