On June 17, 1983, representatives of the Pennsylvania Power 8 Light Company (PPSL) and General Electric (GE) met with members of the NRC staff to discuss Emergency Core Cooling System (ECCS) actuation instrumentation and the imple-mentation of applicable technical specification.

The definition of channels and trip systems for ECCS was discussed.

PP8L proposed changes to the ECCS actuation instrumentation technical specifications will be the subject of a future submittal.

A list of attendees is provided as Enclosure l.

A copy of slides presented by PP8L is provided as Enclosure 2.
