ORDER (Granting Staff Motion for Extension of Time)
On December 24,
- 1980, the NRC Staff moved for an extension of time, from December 29, 1980 to and including January 9,
1981, within which to file a response to the Applicants'otion for Partial Summary Disposition of Contention 17.
(On the same date, its counsel telephoned the Board chairman and advised him of the Staff's request.)
As a basis for its requested exten-
- sion, the Staff cites the illness of one of the members of its technical staff responsible for reviewing the Applicants'otion.
The Staff also states that it contacted the Applicants and Citizens Against Nuclear Dangers (proponent of Contention 17) and that neither objects to the requested extension.

Good cause having been demonstrated (see 10 CFR 5 2.711),
and confirming telephone advice conveyed to the Staff, it is, this 30th day of December, 1980 ORDERED That the staff's motion is granted.
