In the Matter of PENNSYLVANIA POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY and Docket Nos. 50-387 ALLEGHENY ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC. 50-388 (Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2)

Mr. Charles Bechoefer, Esq.

Chairman Atomic Safety and Licensing Board

Dear Mr. Bechoefer:

It is my understanding that the ECNP responses to interrogatories, which were filed at the January 18, 1980, deadline, need to have been accompanied by a notarized affidavit of accuracy. This note is to inform you that the required affidavit will be sent to the parties just as soon as I have recovered sufficiently from the flu, cold, strep throat, and/or pneumonia to venture out of doors. IIhad left the materials in the hands of my typist on the 17th when I left town for three days during which I.

had no opportunity to take care of the matter. And I have been ill since then. I trust that the Board will accept this explanation and the assurance that the proper form will be forthcoming as quickly as possible, but not while I'm still running a 102 fever.

Sincerely, Dated thi's"-'-.: - day. of I' January, 1980 Judi th H. Johnsrud Co-Director 8 0 0.81 SQ37',.f,
