Me recently received from the applicant,a response to.our guestion 8 addressing tho lo~ation of the proposed pumping station with regard to the concerns raised by the Executive Orde~ on Floodplain Management.

The appltcant now pro'poses a.new. location for the pumphouse.

In addition, the river intakes and discharges have been.redesigned and a new pipe'line route, eliminating the need for a

tunnel, has been proposed-II This new information Has received by us aftee our transmittal to you of the.

Hydrologic Engineering input to the Draft Environmental Stat~ment Supplement, Our input,will therefore~

have to,be revihed; scheduling will.be coordinated with S Bcgwa In addition

- the alterations proposed by the applicant may affect the ana'lyses and evaluations of other reviewers, We therefor e suggest that you advise them of the revised design,
