50-387 50-388 NRC STAFF'S ANSWER TO MOTION FOR PROTECTIVE ORDER OF SUS UEHANNA'ENVIRONMENTALADVOCATES The NRC Staff has been served with a copy of a motion for a protective order filed on behalf of intervenor Susquehanna Environmental Advocates.

Staff takes no position on the meri'ts of the motion.
However, the Staff asks the Board to note that the Applicant's discovery requests were served on May 25,;1979.
In accordance with the schedule established in the Special Prehearing Conference Order dated March 6, 1979, the deadline for filing responses or objections to those discovery requests was June 29, 1979.
- Moreover, 10 CFR 2.713(a) of the Comoission "s Rules-of Practice states in pertinent part:
An attorney appearing in a representative-capacity shall file with the Commission a'< written notice of appearance which shall state h'is
- name, address, and telephone number; the basis of his eligibility; and the name and address of the person on whose behalf he appears.
According to the records of the Docketing and Service Branch, neither of the two attorneys who signed the motion has filed the required notice of appearance.
