The Salem Township Supervisors are invited to a meeting with representatives of the U. S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
The meeting"is to be held at 7:30 p.m.,
November 28, 1978 in the Berwick Area Senior High School, 1100 Fowler Avenue, Berwick, Pennsylvania.
Other officials who have been invited to attend include the Berwick Borough Council and the Luzerne County Commissioners.
The purposes of the me'eting are to acquaint you with the mission of the NRC, to introduce key NRC personnel associated with the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, to discuss lines of communications between local officials and the NRC and to discuss
.the status of the Susquehanna facility and any'related community concerns.
It is our understanding that you will invite any other appropriate officials to attend.
