SUBJECT:
REQUEST FOR HEARING IN THE MATTER OF NEXTERA ENERGY SEABROOK LLC , SEABROOK STATION , UNIT 1, DOCKET NO. 50-443-LA-2 The Office of the Secretary has received a petition to intervene and request for hearing from the C-10 Research and Education Foundation . The request was filed in response to a notice issued by the NRC Staff that provided an opportunity for a hearing on the license amendment application request of the Seabrook Station , Unit 1, located in Seabrook, New Hampshire. The notice was published in the Federal Register at 82 Fed . Reg . 09601, "Biweekly Notice; Applications and Amendments to Facility Operating Licenses and Combined Licenses Involving Proposed No Significant Hazards Considerations and Containing Sensitive Unclassified Non-Safeguards Information and Order Imposing Procedures for Access to Sensitive Unclassified Non-Safeguards Information," dated February 7, 2017. The request was timely filed via the EIE on April 10, 2017 .
The initial request for hearing is located in ADAMS and on the Electronic Hearing Docket under accession number ML 171 OOB013 .
This matter is being referred to you for appropriate action in accordance with 10 C.F.R. 2.346(i).
This referral is being served on the E-Filing service list for Seabrook Station , Unit 1, Docket No.
