REQUEST FOR HEARING IN THE MATTER OF NEXTERA ENERGY SEABROOK LLC, SEABROOK STATION, UNIT 1, DOCKET NO. 50-443-LA-2 The Office of the Secretary has received a petition to intervene and request for hearing from the C-10 Research and Education Foundation. The request was filed in response to a notice issued by the NRC Staff that provided an opportunity for a hearing on the license amendment application request of the Seabrook Station, Unit 1, located in Seabrook, New Hampshire. The notice was published in the Federal Register at 82 Fed. Reg. 09601, "Biweekly Notice; Applications and Amendments to Facility Operating Licenses and Combined Licenses Involving Proposed No Significant Hazards Considerations and Containing Sensitive Unclassified Non-Safeguards Information and Order Imposing Procedures for Access to Sensitive Unclassified Non-Safeguards Information," dated February 7, 2017. The request was timely filed via the EIE on April 10, 2017.
The initial request for hearing is located in ADAMS and on the Electronic Hearing Docket under accession number ML 171 OOB013.
This matter is being referred to you for appropriate action in accordance with 10 C.F.R. 2.346(i).
This referral is being served on the E-Filing service list for Seabrook Station, Unit 1, Docket No.
50-443-LA-2.
