DAILY HIGHLIGHT DIABLO CANYON UNIT 1 On November 15,. 1983, the USSS Court of Appeals of the District of Columbia denied (by a vote of 2 to 1) the stay requested by the Join~5 Intervenors of the Commissions's Memorandum and Order CLI-83-27, issued November 8, 1983 reinstating in Pacific Gas and Electric Company's license the authorization for fuel loading and pre-criticality testing at Diablo Canyon, Unit 1.
Pacific Gas and Electric Company began fuel loading operations on November 15, 1983.
