~) F NRC STAFF RESPONSE TO SLOMFP'S PETITION FOR REVIEW OF APPEAL BOARD ORDER SETTING PLACE FOR HEARING On November 1, 1980 Intervenor San Luis Obispo Mothers for Peace (SLOMFP) filed a petition for review with the Commission asking that the Appeal Board's October 17, 1980 Order setting the place for security hearings be set aside.

SLOMFP does not address the standards set forth in 10 C.F.R. 5 2.786 nor 10 C.F.R. 5 2.730(f).

However, due to the need for expedition the NRC Staff has reviewed SLOMFP's filing and determined that it is willing to rest on its response filed before the Appeal Board on this issue and upon
  • /

the Appeal Board's subsequent well-reasoned decision.

Respectfully submitted, William J.

Ol stead Counsel for NRC Staff Dated at Bethesda, Maryland this~ day of November, 1980.
