Tool and Die, Incorporated Docke=

No. 99901082/87-01 NOTICE GF VIOLATION As a result of the inspection conducted on Harch 23-27, 1987 and in accordance with Section 206 of the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974 and its implementing regulation, 10 CFR Part 21, the following violations were identified and categorized in accordance with the KRC Enforcement Policy, 10 CFR Part 2, Appendix C.

Section 21.31 of 10 CFR Part 21 requires, in part, that each corporation subject to the regulations in this part assure that each procurement document for a basic component specifies, when applicable, that the provisions of 10 CFP. Part 21 apply.

Contrary to the above, a review of documentatior.

packages for spent fuel storage racks fabricated under ASHE Code Section III, Subsection NF revealed that while 1G CFR Part 21 was imposed on U.S. Tool and Die, Incorporated (USTED) by their customers, USTED did rot specify that 10 CFR Part 21 requirements would apply on Purchase OrCers (PO) 86-CC208

(87-01-01) 1his is a Severity Level V violation (Supplement VII).

Section 21.6 of 10 CFR Part 21 requires, in part, that each corporation post current copies of the regulations of 10 CFR Part 21, Section 206 cf the Energy Reorganization Act cf '1974 and procedures adopted pursuant to the regulations of 10 CFR Part 21. If posting of the regulations or the procedures is not practical, the licensee may, in addition to posting Section ZG6, post a notice which describes the regulations/procedures.

Contrary to the above, USTED failed to post Section 206 of the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974..(87-01-02)

This is a Severity Level V violation (Supplement VII).
