VIOLATION (NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION INSPECTION REPORT
NO. 50-288/2016-202)
Dear Dr. Krahenbuhl:
This letter acknowledges your response dated on January 26, 2017, to our Notice of
Violation issued on December 21, 2016, concerning activities conducted at your training reactor
and isotopes production, General Atomics Mark-I Reed Research Reactor facility. We have
evaluated your response and found that it meets the requirements of Title 10 of the Code of
Federal Regulations Section 2.201. We will examine the implementation of your corrective
actions during a future inspection. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
