Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 Docket Nos. 50-250 and 50-251 DEC 2 1 2016 L-2016-222 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix E 10 CFR 50.4 2015 Emergency Plan Hostile Action Based Exercise Scenario Florida Power & Light Company (FPL), in cooperation with the State of Florida, Miami-Dade and Monroe County emergency response agencies, will conduct an exercise of the Emergency Plan for Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 on February 22, 2017. The exercise includes simulation of a radioactive release (plume pathway) from the site and will involve participation by local emergency response agencies, the State of Florida emergency response personnel, and will be evaluated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50 Appendix E, N, F.2.b and 10 CFR 50.4, FPL submits the enclosed exercise scenario for the 2017 Biennial Exercise scheduled for February 22, 2017. FPL requests that the enclosure be treated as sensitive information until exercise completion. The enclosure may only be made public by a Regional EP Inspector or NSIR!DPRIEP following completion of the exercise.
