SUMlARY OF MEETING HELD ON APRIL 18, 1979 70 DISCUSS DIABLO CANYON RADIOLOGICALjFFLUENTS TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS A meeting was held with the applicant on April 18, 1979 to discuss the Radiological Effluents Technical Specifications.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the Effluents Treatment Systems
- Branch, DSE and the Standard Technical Specification Group, DOE review of the above cited Technical Specifications.
Me informed PGSE that more information was required on its process control procedures i.e.,
identifying the more important aspects of the radwast drumming station such as the 'cement-water mix ratio; interface between the processing
- systems, and the incorporation of process systems drawings in the Technical Specifications.
The staff stated that they would have to evaluate the acceptability of shipping dewatered spent rising in drums without other solidifying material such as concrete.
Me also requested that Section 6.0 "Administrative Control" be updated to conform with the contents of the Standard Technical Specifications.

The staff indicated that they would reevaluate the ade-quacy of the oxygen monitoring system and inform the applicant of its findings.

The applicant was of the opinion that the above isolation valves,had this feature, and would confirm that this Has the ease.
