SUBJECT:
RECOMMENDATION FOR DIABLO CANYON BOARD NOTIFICATION On December 6,
1983, Region V became aware of the pending arrest of 21 persons on charges of illegal drug activities at Diablo Canyon.
The Preliminary Notification (PNS-V-83/13) concerning this matter is attached.
The charges involve PGBE, Pinkerton, Foley, and Pullman employees.
Apparently, no operations or armed guard force personnel are involved.
The Region V staff recommends that this information be brought to the attention of the Diablo Canyon licensing and appeals board.
