3 Division of Licens~gng DAILY HIGHLIGHT DIABLO CANYON UNIIA1 PGSE began fuel load at Diablo Canyon, Unit 1 on November 15, 1983.,
All contruction activities inside containment have~ been halted until fuel loading has been completed and the vessel head put into place.
As of 0700 (PST) on November 17, 1983, 50 fuel element assemblies had been loaded.
By 0700 (PST) on November 18, 1983, a total of 77 fuel element assemblies have been loaded.
Approximately 119 fuel element assemblies remain to be loaded.
There has been a delay due to the a%y drive motor on the transfer trolley seizing.
The motor is being replaced and fuel load restart is anticipated to begin at 1200 (PST)
November 18, 1983.
