2 RECOMMENDATION FOR 'DIABLO CANYON BOARD NOTIFICATION REGARDING ALLEGATIONS RECEIVED OCTOBER 19, 1983 The purpose of this memorandum is to forward the subject allegations which were reouested by Mr. L. Chandler on October 20, 1983 (enclosure).
We have not been able to contact the alleger and consequently cannot be sure whether or not that person desires anonymity.
We therefore ecommend that the enclosure be treated as CONFIDENTIAL and presented to the appropriate NRC Boards "in camera".
This is consistent with recent guidance from the EDO and should safeguard the identity of the alleger.
Subject to the restraints described
- above, the Region V staff recommends that this information be brought to the attention of the Diablo Canyon licensing and appeal boards.
