NRC procedures for Board Notification, the

following information is being provided directly to the Commission.

This information may be applicable to the following case that is

before the Commission:

Diablo Canyon Units

The attached

report presents

the results of an

NRC inspection to

examine licensee

and contractor actions

taken in response

to an

earlier audit.

The audit had been conducted

by Nuclear Services

Corporation in August and September,

1977 of Pullman Power Products

construction activities.

A copy of the audit report was previously

served

on the Appeal

Board and parties

by Joint Intervenors in

connection with their motion to reopen the record

on matters of

construction

gA.

The attached

report indicates that no items of

noncompliance

were identified within the scope of the

NRC inspection.
