Md6'n accordance with the present NRC procedures for Board Notifications, the following item is enclosed for information of the Commission:
Teledyne Engineering Services, "Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 1, Final Report.
Independent Design Verification Program" The enclosure is the first installment of the report with the last installment currently scheduled for submittal by June 30, 1983.
The report covers Phase I and the Phase II of the independent design verification program.
This report and the PGIWE Phase I Final Report of the design verification program are under review by the staff and will provide to a large degree the bases for the staff recommendations to the Commission regarding the reinstatement of the suspended low power license./
