The Commission SEP 29 lggp Enclosures 1 through 4 provide information on the status of activities performed under the IDVP for Diablo Canyon by the participating organiza-tions.

Some of these activities fall within Phase II of the IDVP (e.g.,

Stone 5 Webster activites as described in Enclosure

4) which has not been approved yet by the NRC.

Enclosure 5 is a revision of the subject procedure in response to a staff request.

Enclosure 6 provides a revised procedure for the subject activity which will not be reviewed by the IDVP due to prior involvement by Teledyne.

Enclosure 7 is the Seventh Interim Technical

Report, prepared by R. L. Cloud Associates and approved by Teledyne.

This information is relevant to the safety issue on the design adequacy of Diablo Can'yon Unit 1.

This is the subject of Commission Order CLI 30 which is the basis for the IDVP.

The staff is evaluating the informa-tion as part of its ongoing review of the IDVP efforts and will report on the results. prior to reinstatement of the license.

The material does not pertain to those matters that were resolved by the ALAB 644.
