Enclosure 1 provides information on the status of activities performed under the Independent Design Verification Program (IDVP) for Diablo Canyon Unit 1 by the participating organizations.
Enclosure 2 is a verbatim transcript of the subject meeting at which the following items, among others were discussed:
(1) relevancy of the findings thus far of Phase I
of the program with respect to seismic/non-seismic differentiation and with respect to the June 1978 Phase I/Phase II:date, (2) need for inclusion of gA for construction activities in "the program, (3) specific evaluations of the fuel handling building, (4) format, scope, and schedule for the PG8E Phase I final report.

This is the subject of Coomission Order CLI-81-30 which is the basis for the IDVP.
The staff is evaluating the information as part of its ongoing review of the IDVP efforts and will report on the results prior to reinstatement of the license.
The material does not pertain to those matters that were resolved by ALAB 644.
