al. by letter dated June 18, 1982 2.

Diablo Canyon Project (}uality Assurance

Program, submitted by the Pacific Gas and Electric Company in letter dated June 18, 1982 Enclosure 1 is in response to the requirements of the HRC letter dated November 19, 1981 to.the Pacific Gas and Electric Company and to subsequent interpretations developed.during the progress of Phase I.. Enclosure 2 describes the guality Assurance Program that will be used for the completion of the ongoing efforts for both Diablo Canyon Units.

The staff is evaluating the information as part of its ongoing review of the Independent Design Verification Program and will report on the results of our evaluation.

The material does not pertain to those matters that were resolved by ALAB 644.
