- Karen, In response to the reviewers two questions:
- 1. What about the pressurizer head-to-shell CIRCUMFERENTIAL welds?
Response: Apparently, we dropped a comma during the preparation of the RAI response. There should have been a comma after head to shell, longitudinal welds or nozzle inner radius sections as indicated below. The head to shell weld is a circumferential weld.
There has been no history of service induced degradation on the pressurizer head to shell welds, longitudinal welds or nozzle inner radius sections over the previous two (i.e., the second and third) inspection intervals.
- 2. Please confirm that ACTUAL examinations on welds 1-07 and 1-02 were performed during the FOURTH ISI interval?
Response: Yes, 4th ISI Interval examinations were performed on welds 1-07 and 1-02.
Hopefully this will address the reviewers questions. Please advise if a conference call is still desired.
