FORT CALHOUN STATION, UNIT NO. 1 - CLOSURE OF NRC BULLETIN 2012-01 (CAC NO. ME9336)
Dear Mr. Marik:
By letter dated November 13, 2016 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML16319A254), Omaha Public Power District (OPPD, the licensee) provided a certification of permanent defueling to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for Fort Calhoun Station, Unit No. 1 (FCS). Based upon OPPD's letter, no additional action is requested for FCS for the following NRC generic communication:
NRC Bulletin (BL) 2012-01, "Design Vulnerability in Electric Power System," dated July 27, 2012.
