VOGTLE ELECTRIC GENERATING PLANT, UNIT 2 - CORRECTION TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION PAGE FOR AMENDMENT NO. 164 RE: ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT FOR 2B NUCLEAR SERVICE COOLING WATER TRANSFER PUMP (CAC NO. MF8274)

Dear Mr. Pierce:

By letter dated October 31, 2016 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML16265A162), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Amendment No. 164 to Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF-81 for the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Unit 2. Revised Technical Specification (TS) page 3.7.9-2 contained a typographical error. Specifically, the error consisted of the omission of "Amendment No. 179 (Unit 1)" at the bottom right of the page. Also, a change bar should have appeared after "Amendment No. 164 (Unit 2)" at the bottom right of the page.

This was an administrative error on the part of the NRC. The correction does not change any of the NRC staff's conclusions in the safety evaluation associated with the license amendment or the no significant hazards consideration determination as published in the Federal Register.

A corrected TS page 3.7.9-2 is enclosed. We apologize if this error has caused any inconvenience.
