ACRS ACTION ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF 10 CFR 50, APPENDIX J, "PRIMARY CONTAINMENT LEAKAGE TESTING FOR WATER-COOLED POWER REACTORS" During its 342nd meeting, October 6-7, 1988, the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards was informed of the nature of the proposed Amendment of 10 CFR 50, Appendix J that explicitly permits the use of the Mass Point statistical data analysis method for calculating containment leakage rates. The ACRS has no objection to the issuance of this amendment.
