Dear Mr. Barker:
U.S. Department of Homeland Security FEMA Region V 536 South Clark Street, 6th Floor Chicago, IL 60605 FEMA The State of Wisconsin has requested Federal participation at the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant's Radiological Emergency Preparedness (REP) Exercise scheduled for the week of July 16 to 20,2018. The REP exercise will be both a plume phase and ingestion pathway exercise with full participation from the State of Wisconsin, Pierce County and the State of Minnesota and Goodhue and Dakota Counties. Also, all ingestion Counties are planned to be invited to participate on a partial participation basis.
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission-Rill is requested to provide a Federal Advisory Team member to participate in the July 2018 exercise. The Federal Advisory Team members would interact with and support various exercise operations, including the analysis and interpretation of radiological data.
