PROPOSED POLICY STATEMENT ON ADDITIONAL APPLICATIONS OF LEAK-BEFORE-BREAK TECHNOLOGY (SECY-88-325)
During the 346th meeting of the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safe-guards, February 9-11, 1989, we discussed the scheduling of our review of the subject policy statement. Our discussion was precipitated by a request from Commissioner Roberts' office that the Committee's review of this topic be completed in a timely manner for consideration in the Com-mission's deliberations regarding the proposed policy statement.
Because of the time required to perform an adequate review of this issue, we will be unable to complete our review of this matter until our March 9-11, 1989 meeting.
