RE: Question?

Hi Debbie, Sorry for the delayed response. Im good - thank you! In short, no to my knowledge the NRC has not ordered Seabrook to dewater Unit 2. I will forward your question to Fred Bower so that he can decide whether it would be appropriate to document the answer to this question in a formal way. In addition, Im sure you are aware that NextEra has submitted a license amendment request to request approval of a methodology to analyze seismic Category I concrete structures affected by ASR. That request is currently under NRC review. The document is available on the public website here: http://www.nrc.gov/reactors/operating/ops-experience/concrete-degradation.html Hope all is well.
