ISSUANCE OF EXEMPTION FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF TITLE 10 OF THE CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS SECTION 54.21(b) FOR THE DIABLO CANYON POWER PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2, LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION
Dear Mr. Halpin:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has approved the enclosed exemption from the requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 54.21(b) for the Diablo Canyon Power Plant, Units 1 and 2, license renewal application (LRA) while the staffs review of the LRA is suspended. This action is in response to your request dated August 1, 2016.
A copy of the exemption is enclosed. The exemption has been forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
