STAFF REVIEW OF CLINTON POWER STATIONS PHYSICAL SECURITY PLAN REVISION 14 FOR THE VERFICATION OF ADDITIONAL SECURITY MEASURES (EA-14-045)
IMPLEMENTATION (CAC NO. L25120)
The staff has completed its review of the Clinton Power Station, Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, and Safeguards Contingency Plan, (PSP) Revision 14 which was submitted by the Exelon Generation Company, LLC (EGC) to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) by letter dated May 6, 2016.
Based on our review, we find the submitted PSP to be acceptable and the Clinton Power Station has met the applicable performance objectives and general requirements outlined in Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulation (10 CFR) Section 73.55, and the Additional Security Measures (ASMs) imposed by NRC Order EA-14-045.
A physical security inspection (IR 05000461/2016408 - IR 072001046/2016401) was completed on June 22, 2016, which verified the PSP successfully meets the objectives outlined in IP81311.
Based on staffs review, the Clinton PSP (Rev.14) has met the performance objectives and general requirements outlined in 10 CFR Section 73.55 and the ASMs imposed by the NRC.
