Power Cooperative, " La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor-Safety Evaluation Approving Revision 29 to the Quality Assurance Program Description," dated May 31, 2016 On May 20, 2016, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approved the transfer of license for the La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor (LACBWR) from Dairyland Power Cooperative (DPC) to LaCrosseSolutions (LS) (Reference 1). In support of the license transfer, Revision 29 of the LACBWR Quality Assurance Program Description (QAPD) was submitted to the NRC for approval on October 29, 2015 (Reference 2). The NRC approved the LS Quality Assurance Program, as described in Revision 29 of the LACBWR QAPD, on May 31, 2016 (Reference 3).

The QAPD satisfies the requirements of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR71 Subpart H, and 10 CFR 72 Subpart G.

LS assumed responsibilities as the LACBWR licensee on June 1, 2016. Pursuant to 10 CFR 71.101 (f), this letter notifies the NRC of our intent to apply our previously approved quality assurance program (LACBWR QAPD, Revision 29) to transportation activities.
