Subject:

Supplement to McGuire Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2 License Amendment Request (LAR), for the Removal of Superseded Technical Specification (TS) Requirements, dated, May 5, 2016, TAC Nos. MF7682 and MF7683.

The purpose of this supplement is to provide clarification for the TS reference used in the LAR for the removal of a note in TS 3.3.2. The LAR refers to the affected TS as TS Table 3.3.2-1.6.f.

The proper reference for the affected TS is TS 3.3.2, Table 3.3.2-1, Function 6.f, Auxiliary Feedwater Pump Suction Transfer on Suction Pressure - Low.

All existing TS Table 3.3.2-1.6.f references in the LAR should be viewed as TS 3.3.2, Table 3.3.2-1, Function 6.f, Auxiliary Feedwater Pump Suction Transfer on Suction Pressure - Low.

This change is considered editorial in nature and does not have any impact on the technical substance of the LAR.

This supplement contains no regulatory commitments.

The May 5, 2016, LAR concluded that the proposed change presents No Significant Hazards Considerations and does not require an environmental assessment. This conclusion has not changed as a result of this supplement.

Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.91, a copy of this supplement is being sent to the designated official of the State of North.
