The Physical Security Plan at the Kansas State University TRI GA Mk II reactor has been revised.

None of the revisions are judged to constitute a decrease in effectiveness in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p) (2). Specifically, the duty of approving personnel for unescorted access had been assigned to the Reactor Manager, who happened to be the NRC-approved Reviewing Official; that duty is now correctly and specifically assigned to the Reviewing Official.

The updated Plan is attached, and significant changes / additions have been highlighted. A clean copy without markup follows the markup copy.

The attached document and its appendix contain Safeguards Information designated as Safeguards Information - Modified Handling. but this cover letter does not. When separated from the attachments, the cover letter does not warrant protection from unauthorized disclosure.
