NRC Regulatory Issue Summary 2009-06, "Importance of Giving NRC Advance Notice of Intent to Pursue License Renewal," dated June 15, 2009 In the referenced letter, the NRC described the importance of providing advance notice of the intent to pursue license renewal.
This letter provides notification that Exelon Generation Company, LLC (Exelon) is planning to submit an application for the second renewed licenses for the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Units 2 and 3, in the third quarter of 2018 (i.e., between July 1, 2018 and September 30, 2018).
There are no regulatory commitments contained in this letter.
