Purpose:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will host an Open House with the public to discuss the NRCs assessment of safety performance at Seabrook for 2015. Following the open house, the NRC will then give an update and respond to questions regarding the NRCs evaluation of the effect of the Alkali-Silicia Reaction (ASR) in concrete structures at Seabrook.

During the open house, the NRC staff will meet one-on-one with members of the public to discuss the NRCs assessment of NextEras safety performance at Seabrook for 2015. Then the NRC staff will give an update on the NRCs ongoing reviews (inspection, licensing, and license renewal) of concrete structures at Seabrook and answer questions from the public.

Additionally, signs, banners, posters, and displays affixed to any sticks, poles, or other similar devices will not be permitted in the meeting room. No tables or displays are permitted in the meeting room or the hotel lobby outside the room.
2 Members of the public who wish to speak during the Q&A portion of the meeting should sign up on a speaker card prior to entering the meeting room to enable effective facilitation of the meeting. Time for individual questions or comments at this meeting may be limited to accommodate as many speakers as possible. Speakers should expect no more than five (5) minutes per speaker. Longer remarks may be submitted in writing, or split between two speakers.
