Updates made during Salem December 2014 NRC Exam Prep Week Visit November 2, 2015 The following changes were made to the previously submitted Salem Initial License Operating Exam during your Prep Week visit of October 28-30, 2015, in preparation for the upcoming December 2015 Salem Initial License Exam.

ESG-1 Add wind speed and direction to paper copy (for ECG call)

Page 20 change 2C SEC to 2B SEC Page 17 change< to > 15%.

Page 617 added "if not previously performed per CAS." to RCP stop step, and closing charging pump mini flow step.

ESG-2 Page 4, Scenario Summary, D, modified to show power reduction will be performed due to the high thermocouple temps, not for unsat performance of PT.GEN-0003.

Added wind speed and direction (for ECG call)

Page 15 modified cue to only include stable RF indications.

Page 21 changed "Ruptured" to "ruptured".

Page 22 added "ensures" open to CV139 and 140 open step.

Modifed flowpath in AB.Gen to provide temperature indications at Step 3.2 that will direct power reduction per NRC request.

ESG-3 Added ET-9 and ET-11 to delete cond vac malfs when Rx trips Added wind speed and direction (for ECG call)

Added RT-11 and RT-13 to open associated BF40 valves Added RT-14 to:

1. Trip 23 CVCS pump with one second delay contingency (to force crew to start 21 eves pp)
2.

Place 2CC71 in manual (to prevent CCW perturbation on letdown isolation)

SROA2 Removed words "and enters" from Task Standard 3 (typo)

SRO Al-2 Changed 3.1.3.1.c to 3.1.3.1.c.3 throughout JPM.

Added asterisks denoting critical info required on KEY.

SRO Al-1 Removed "above baseline" from S/G Blowdown Cation Conductivity initial conditions.

RO Al-2 Modified 1st step in body of JPM to provide entire Sheet 1 of EOP-TRIP-4, not just first column, to ensure candidate can determine the correction factor for boron addition is NOT to be used based on the entire boration being required prior to initiating the RCS cooldown. Additionally, added to initial conditions that RCS temperature is 547°F and stable, for the same reason as above.

Inplant JPM IP-i Corrected all references to Attachment 1 to correct Attachment 3 in body of JPM (typos)

Sime Added critical task designation to steps 5.10.1 A/B, C and D.

Simd Modified cue to state that Test Preparation Step 5.2 has been completed. Filled out Section 3.0 Precautions and Limitations to align with having already performed Section 5.2, and removed 5.2 performance from body of JPM. Filled out Section 5.2 of marked up procedure.

Sime Added critical step to confirm the Rx trip. Removed reference to ET-1 on sim setup (page 2) and step 5.2.5 Standard (page 5). ET-1 not required, malf occurs automatically.

Simf Added cue to preclude having to perform unnecessary steam dump adjustment., and removed words in Standard for that step in which adjustment may have been made.

Simg Changed time delay for last CCW pump trip from 4 minutes to 1 min 30 seconds to prevent premature Rx trip and possible non-performance of JPM critical steps based on taking a conservative action prior to 5 minute allowed time before performance of that action is required Simh Sim h replaced with a Safety Function 4(primary) JPM Loss of RHR.
