Dear Sir or Madam:
In Mid-Cycle Assessment letter dated September 1, 2015, [Reference 3] the NRC stated that they plan to perform an onsite audit of licensee efforts towards compliance with Order EA-12-049 [Reference 1] and Order EA-12-051 [Reference 2]. Subsequently, Entergy announced plans for permanent cessation of power operations and submitted a notification letter [Reference 4].
Based on discussions with the NRC related to implementing orders EA-12-049 and EA-12-051 and in view of plans to permanently shut down, Entergy requests that the planned onsite audit visit described in Reference 3 be deferred indefinitely.
