[External_Sender] FPL's Turkey Point nuclear plant pollution issues Please take note of our deep concern re the increase in ammonia and salinity in Biscayne Bay and the cooling canals for the nuclear plant that appear to be a direct result of problem at the FPL plant. The fact alone that crocodile nesting has drastically decreased since this measured uptick in pollutants.

As you know this also affects the increased water withdrawals from nearby well-fields that is resulting in increased problems with the water in Biscayne Bay which surely needs every bit of non-contaminated water in order to renew itself in the face of vastly increased demands for water in this part of S Florida.

Please reconsider the permits granted to Florida Power & Light that are simply making a bad problem worse. Allowing FPL to increase the temperature of discharge waters to the highest in the industry at 104 simply appears to be contributing to the problem and is not providing a solution. The energy industry hardly has a stellar record in Florida and should be held accountable for real damage that is being created daily.

On behalf of myself, my wife Cheri McConnell and son Benjamin Judd.

Thank you for your consideration to these comments and I would be very interested in hearing from you re the rationale for future decision-making that I understand will occur after January 15, 2016 the final day for public comment.
