"Three live atlantic sturgeons were removed from the Salem Generating Station Unit 1 Circulating Water System (CWS) intake trash racks on February 2, 2016. Three sturgeons were collected at 1047, 1057, and 1355, and placed back in the river by 1500. A report was made by Environmental Licensing to the NJDEP Division of Fish & Wildlife at 1353 and National Marine Fisheries at 1355. Nuclear Environmental Affairs has made a determination that this is a 4-hour report to the NRC under RAL 11.8.2.a."
